Gretchen Zima joined us for three months in 2003. She is a medical doctor and was sponsored by the Catholic Medical Association. Most of her work in Cambodia was with the AIDS patients who are part of Maryknoll's HIV and AIDS outreach. |

Gretchen adapted to the local culture and conditions quite well and quite rapidly. Here she is, a few days after arrival, on the back of a motorcycle taxi, the most common conveyance in Phnom Penh. |
