In Thailand, at the meetings of Maryknoll Asia South (MAS), Susan jumped right into the discussions and reports of the meetings. Here she prepares a poster with ideas from a small group discussion.

On her second day in Cambodia, Susan participated in the weekly Maryknoll Cambodia mission team meeting for the first time. After the meeting, she spoke with Kevin Conroy as he prepared to preside at the liturgy the team celebrates together each week.

Usually five or ten friends of Maryknoll, people who appreciate the opportunity to pray together in the middle of the week, join the mission team for the liturgy and for the dinner. Here Susan is speaking with Sr. Pauline, a Presentation Sister from Manhattan who is visiting the Maryknoll projects this week.

Susan was lucky to be part of the birthday celebration her first time at the dinner. She shared the honors with Sami Scott and Lisa Pirie as Sr. Pauline watched them blow out the candles on the birthday cakes.
