28 August 2007 -- Kim Ji Hoon is a priest of the Korean Mission Society, a group that was established with the help of Maryknoll. Ji Hoon came to Cambodia in 2003 to gain mission experience and to assess the possibilities for mission for his priests group. Ji Hoon has lived at the Maryknoll house and been part of the Maryknoll community during his time in Cambodia. Now the Korean Mission Society are ready to start their own projects, based on foundations Ji Hoon has established, and so he has moved out of the Maryknoll house and will set up a new residence and a new project on the north side of Phnom Penh. |

22 August 2007 On his last Wednesday with us for our weekly meeting, liturgy, and dinner, Ji Hoon was recognized for his contribution to Maryknoll Cambodia while he has been here and received a small gift from Sr. Regina Pellicore. |

To celebrate his last dinner with us, Ji Hoon arranged for all sorts of Korean foods to be served. Always quiet, even shy, Ji Hoon will have a special place with Maryknoll even though he moves to the other side of town. That's Lisa Pirie checking out the different Korean dishes. |
