Maryknoll Friends Across Borders
Trip to Cambodia

15 February to 2 March 2010

24 February

In the morning, the FAB group went to Boeung Tom Pun where they visited Sr. Regina's health and education project and Lisa Pirie's pre-school. There was time for a little shopping for forgotten items in the afternoon, and then the group moved back to the Maryknoll house for a liturgy and dinner together. At the dinner, dancers from the Maryknoll Little Folks project performed some classical and traditional folk dances.

Meeting the local Maryknollers

After the mass and before dinner, there was time to chat while waiting for the dancers to arrive.

At this center, Maryknoll has its general office and three or four rooms for resident priests and seminarians and for guests.
Dancers from the Little Folks project

This is a classical Khmer dancing style that requires real focus and attention.
Performing for the FAB guests

The boys and girls from Little Folks appreciated the opportunity to perform for foreigners.

At the end, everyone posed for a photo together.
