Today was the last full day of retreat for the Maryknoll group gathered at the Salesian Retreat Center in Hua Hin, Thailand. During the retreat the afternoons were free, and since this was the last free afternoon, I took the opportunity to walk the beach for two hours. It will be all meetings from here on. Out on the street I took some pictures of displays honoring Thailand's king--dearly loved by the people--who is celebrating his 79th birthday and 60th year on the throne.
