Once across the border into Thailand, we had to wait at this little food shop for a bus to Bangkok. Twin Golden Gate Travel operates a sort of scam, taking all passengers to a family-owned shop just three miles away and forcing us to sit there (and buy Cokes, etc., to kill the time) before proceeding on to Bangkok.
