| In the past all of us from Cambodia would fly to Bangkok and then take the bus to Hua Hin in southern Thailand. This was because the roads were so bad as to be sometimes impassable for long periods and because of the length of time the trip took. Just a few years ago, it was an overnight trip. But now because improvements in large sections of the roads have cut down travel time, and because it costs one tenth of the air travel expenses to go overland, four of us traveled to Bangkok by road. |
