Today was a travel day--from Bangkok to Hua Hin in southern Thailand--for most of the MMM people attending the retreat and meetings. The mission team from Thailand was already at the retreat center in Hua Hin, though. They arrived yesterday to allow for a day and a half of meetings as the Thailand group before everyone else arrived. The rest of us met in Bangkok and came together by bus, a three and a half hour trip. In the evening we started our retreat with Fr. Bob Schreiter, a priest on the faculty of CTU, the Chicago Theological Union.
