To inform: Mission is connection with others in the global community and our world Church. We hope each issue will bring you closer to them. Whether you are teaching CCD, in a Bible study group, serving in some ministry or are simply seeking to grow in your understanding of how the mission of Christ is being lived out in our time, we will give concrete examples, stories and reports that will be helpful.

To inspire: We have over 50 missionaries from the St. Cloud Diocese serving in other lands, and many engaged in multicultural ministry within the United States. They will be writing to you to share their experiences. We will be sharing the stories of others who are sharing Christ’s Good News with the hope that many of you will say “I can do that!” not just as missionaries but in our every day Christian living.

To promote action: Each bimonthly issue will contain concrete action responses to give you the opportunity to engage in promoting the Gospel values that are at the heart of mission. We believe it is our responsibility to offer you specific ways to translate our good words into social change.

Each issue will contain something of the above and much more. The principal editor will be the Coordinator of Mission Education for the Diocese, Rosanne Fischer.

Since this is a new venture, we want very much to have your comments and critiques… and any items you might want to submit for publication in Mission Connections.
